24th January 2010, Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel Wedding Exhibition
Despite the gloomy day which lingered over the misty grounds of Pittodrie House, Chicabelle was pleased to speak with many brides-to-be who had tackled the weather to join us. We were also delighted to have been able to finalise details with several brides who have already booked our services since the AECC exhibition just a week ago. We would like to thank all of the brides who have been in touch recently regarding their wedding requirements, along with those who have taken the opportunity to book our services... some of which are as far in advance as the next 20 months!
We are very excited about the forthcoming weddings, and are looking forward to receiving further bookings from those brides still to get in touch with us regarding their make-up needs. Should you like to make an enquiry please contact us early in order to avoid disappointment.

16th-17th January 2010, AECC Wedding Exhibition
What a triumph!... The weekend flew by and it was lovely to see all of the interest Chicabelle received. Out of the 1600 registered brides in attendance over the weekend, we have already been able to book and confirm several dates for the next two years!!
The exhibition was such a success that we have already booked our attendance at next year's show. Therefore, if you are getting married after 2010, we hope to see you at next year's event on 15/16th Jan 2011 www.yweltd.com . Nevertheless, we continue to receive advance bookings and, should you wish to confirm our services before next year's show, please contact us to avoid disappointment.
Finally, Chicabelle would like to thank all of you who took the opportunity to come and talk to us during the exhibition. We would also like to thank the Chicabelle representatives who took time to speak with visitors, despite their agony of wearing 4" heels all weekend... why do we never learn girls?

30th December 2009, Salina and LeeRoy Wedding Day!!!
I can't quite believe how quickly it has come around, but my very best friend since forever finally got married!! Not only did I have make-up and hair duties (of course) but I was also the Maid of Honor. After a morning of transformation, we were ready for the day ahead and, as you can see here, Salina looked stunning!!! The wedding day arrived and all guests managed to make it despite the weather doing its best to hold folk up. The venue www.thegreathallatmains.co.uk/ looked amazing and hosted a typical medieval service and feast, including court jester as entertainment! LeeRoy dazzled equally and they both made a very hansom couple.
Chicabelle would like to wish all the very best to this very special unity and wish them a prosperous life together as man and wife.

After being exceptionally lucky with the November weather and the beautiful grounds looking illuminated in the frosted sunshine, Chicabelle would like to thank Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel for a lovely day at their wedding exhibition. We would be delighted to hear back from the brides and families that we met on the day and look forward to seeing them again in the future. Oh, and we just couldn't resist a wee pickie with the piper :-)

13th November 2009, Chicabelle Website Launch Party
Here's a brief moment at the Chicabelle website launch party, held in order to say many thanks to all who have helped and supported the project along the way. We would also like to say a huge thanks to Dusk cocktail lounge and their staff for being so hospitable and adding a very special 'touch of pink' champagne!!!
Here's to hoping we have many more occasions to celebrate in the future.

End October 2009
Here we see a brief moment of rest at the Chicabelle website photo shoot. Once the helicopter had finally landed and everyone's hairspray was firmly set, we took advantage of the exceptionally beautiful Scottish September afternoon on the lawns of the Raemoir House Hotel.
Et Voila! ..... and here we have it, after months of deliberating, organising and finally committing, the Chicabelle website is born! With much pride and relief, I now declare the doors open.
